I am fed up with seeing locum Doctors. I need to see the same one very hard to do that.
We were thinking of changing me and my husband.

Thank you for your comment, I am sorry to hear you have been fed up with seeing locum doctors. We have seen a lot of GP changes in the last 18 months here at Northbourne and it has been necessary to use locum GPs to allow us to see all the patients requiring appointments. We have just had two new doctors join us and another one in January so we are hopepful for a period of stability which should see the reduction of locum GP use. Jill Grey Practice Manager

Attended for an un grown toenail for 13 years old son. Doctor prescribed antibiotics. She did not examine the toe in any great detail. Not surprisingly, antibiotics did not sure this. At the appointment, I asked about a podiatrist- was told to pay privately. 3 podiatrist appointments later (£80 cost)
- Back for further antibiotics.

Yesterday 3rd February due to a mix up with my appointment time, the receptionist Gill sorted out for me to have the blood test there and then so I did not have to return today. Sheree the health care Assitant is so kind and so helpful nothing is too much trouble for her.
I have to have bloods done every month and she is always cheerful. She also picked up on a problem which the hospital has now sorted out.
I think the Northbourne is a great surgery it has got a lot busier since the move but I would still recommend them.
